Rutgers Community Arts Summer Camps

Join the vibrant artistic community at Rutgers University–New Brunswick this summer, with programs across a range of disciplines and ages, that offer the opportunity to collaborate with college level faculty, alumni & working artists on Rutgers' campus, in state of the art studios and theatres. Rutgers Faculty and Staff discounts available.
Art & Design
Summer Art & Design Intensives take place in the art studios and computer labs of Mason Gross School of the Arts, located in the vibrant Civic Square Building in downtown New Brunswick. Programs available for 6th-12th grade students.
Dance
Summer dance students receive specialized, age-appropriate mentorship by Mason Gross School of the Arts faculty. Programs available for students ages 14-18.
Filmmaking & Screenwriting
The Rutgers Summer Filmmaking Intensive gives students a two-week boot camp in film production. The additional Screenwriting Intensive is a five-day workshop designed to introduce the craft of screenwriting Open to 10th-12th grade students.
Music
Summer music intensives feature a rigorous, collegiate-level experience led by Mason Gross School of the Arts faculty and renowned musicians in Jazz and Concert Band. A residential option allows high school students an early taste of on-campus college life. Programs available for 7th-12th grade students.
