The PharmD at Rutgers

The six-year Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) at Rutgers program begins with two years of pre-professional study and moves seamlessly into four years of professional training. Rutgers is home to one of the country’s few 0-6 PharmD programs, meaning students can enter directly from high school or transfer from a two- or four-year college into the first professional year.

With pass rates near 100% on the pharmacy licensure exam, our PharmD graduates are well positioned to launch rewarding careers or to pursue advanced study at the nation’s best graduate and professional schools.

State-of-the-Art Simulation Center

The simulation center at Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy offers a dynamic and immersive learning environment that bridges the gap between classroom education and real-world clinical practice. Our simulation areas provide students with immersive experiences in various pharmacy practice environments, starting early in their academic journey.

By introducing realistic clinical scenarios with cutting-edge technology, students gain hands-on experience and improve their clinical skills without the risk of harming patients. Our expert faculty provide guidance, mentorship, and real-time feedback to ensure that students gain the most from their simulation experiences.
