Program Spotlight: Biology & Chemistry

The graduate programs in Biology and Chemistry offer the Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees. Both programs emphasize research experience, and students learn in modern facilities with state-of-the-art instrumentation.

Master's of Art in Teaching

The Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) is a terminal degree for students who are preparing for - or are already engaged in - careers in secondary school teaching. The M.A.T. is designed to prepare candidates for a master's degree, a Ph.D. program, or alternate route certifications, including the New Jersey teacher certification.
